Numerical Simulation of the Aerodynamic Performance of A U-Shaped Sail

چکیده
Abstract For a U-shaped sail that has been applied on real ships, we establish three-dimensional geometry model using SolidWorks, and obtain its numerical simulation results under 10 different angles of attack Fluent to numerically simulate aerodynamic performance. By comparing the calculated with wind tunnel test results, proved be effective. Then interference effects between twin sails were investigated by model.
